For actresses Dawn Zulueta and Maricel Laxa, trust is the key to a lasting friendship.

“Remember that we’re in a business. We don’t enter this field to make best friends,” says Dawn. “Even people who work on Wall Street don’t go there to make friends with everybody. We’re all here because we ’re working. It’s a bonus if you create friends.”

Dawn, who is based in Davao del Norte, hometown of her husband Rep. Anton Lagdameo, says she doesn’t always get to spend time with Maricel but their closeness “transcends time.”

‘Kikay’ time

The two got to work together again in the Jose Javier Reyes drama “Magkaibigan,” a 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival entry. They became close while hosting the variety program “GMA Supershow” in the 1980s.

“Ibang klase ang naging bonding namin while making ‘Magkaibigan,’” says Maricel, mother of four. “After not seeing each other for a long while, we were surprised that we still had a lot to talk about, like our respective families. She’s very passionate about Davao as I am passionate about giving parenting seminars. We plan to work on something for Davao soon.”

Maricel says she also enjoys discussing with Dawn her plans for the industry. “Both of us hope to produce more movies like ‘Magkaibigan,’ even if it would mean spending our own money. We hope other actors would share our passion,” she points out.

On a lighter note, Dawn and Maricel say they have had a lot of “kikay” bonding time while working. “We spent countless hours with Dawn teaching me to do my own make-up. Every time we see each other after that, she would give me more tips. It was such a great help for someone like me who used to be so dependent on my make-up artist,” Maricel says.

Woman power

Actress-TV host Lani Mercado says she considers fellow actress Yayo Aguila, who also happens to be her niece, her closest show biz friend.

“Yayo and I send text messages to each other—a lot,” says the wife of Sen. Bong Revilla. “When I heard that the family filed a harassment case against Baron Geisler, I was concerned. I have daughters of my own. I called her up immediately. I told her I’d be praying that the issue would be resolved quickly and quietly.”

Lani says she is also friends with her “Moms” co-hosts Manilyn Reynes and Sherilyn Reyes. They have gotten so close that they still see each other even now that their show has stopped airing.

“When we bond, it means we talk about personal problems and give each other pieces of advice—as in woman power talaga,” Lani says.

Yayo Aguila and family move on but still hope for good outcome on case against Baron Geisler

Puro trabaho ang inaasikaso ni Yayo Aguila kahit nga alam ng marami ang situwasyon nila ng asawa niyang si William Martinez na may kinalaman pa rin sa kasong Acts of Lasciviousness na isinampa nila laban kay Baron Geisler.

Ito ay may kinalaman sa nangyari noon sa anak nilang si Patrizha na ginawan diumano ng hindi maganda ni Baron.

"Tahimik lang naman kami habang hinihintay pa rin namin ang resolution," sabi pa ni Yayo. "Gusto lang naming klaruhin dahil ang dami-rami nang balitang kumakalat na kesyo lumabas na raw ang resolution.

"Na-dismiss na raw ang kaso, which is not yet true. Natatagalan nga. Hindi namin alam kung bakit. HinIhintay pa rin namin.

"Hopefully, maging okey na ang lahat."

Ipinagtapat ni Yayo sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), nang makapanayam namin siya—habang naghihintay ng pagsalang niya sa taping ng Shall We Dance? kahapon sa TV5 sa Novaliches, Quezon City—ang over-all impact sa anak niyang si Patrizha ng kabuuang kaso.

"Noong una, siyempre, super-affected siya. Hindi naman yun isang maliit na bagay lang na araw-araw, puwedeng mangyari, at hindi mo naman basta mapapalampas.

"Kaya nga nagsampa kami ng kaso, e. Pero, sa pagdaan ng mga araw, siyempre, humupa na rin ang tension and everything. Nagpapaka-busy na siya sa work. Kaka-graduate lang niya ng college, at lagi niyang kasama ang friends niya," kuwento pa ni Yayo.

Adult na kung tutuusin ang anak niya. Alam na raw nito kung saan lulugar, at kung ano ang mararamdaman, depende sa situwasyon.

"Basta kami, patiently, naghihintay kami sa kalalabasan ng kaso. May ipinaglalaban kami.

"We're hoping for a good outcome. At the same time, we have to move on," sabi pa ni Yayo.

May counter-charge nga sa kanila si Baron. Perjury naman ang kaso.

"Perjury against me, at doon din sa kaibigan ng anak ko. May statement siyempre ako, na hindi raw totoo. Mga ganoon," aniya pa.

Hindi ba siya nabubuwisit kung parang nababaligtad pa ang istorya laban sa kanila?

"Siyempre, kung ano ang sasabihin ni Baron at ikakatuwiran niya, yung makabubuti sa kanya. Right niya yun, e.

"It's a universal thing. Honestly, hindi naman ako puwedeng magalit, e.

"Kahit sino, right nila yun. Yun din lang ang sasabihin mo, inaakusahan ko, hindi ka guilty. Ganoon lang yun," sabi pa ni Yayo.

TORN. Pero, aware si Yayo na wala siyang power para sabihin sa mga tao na definitely, guilty nga si Baron sa kasong isinampa nila laban dito.

"Kaya nga may hustisya. Para roon nga ma-prove, at maimbestigahan nga kung ano ang totoong nangyari.

"Hindi ako nagagalit, pero alam mo, hindi ko puwedeng sabihing hindi ako nagagalit, pero nagngingitngit ako.

"Pero, wala naman akong magagawa. At the same time, ang laki ng panghihinayang ko. Kasi, open book naman sa mga tao kung gaano kami naging close ni Baron," seryosong nasabi pa ni Yayo.

Parang anak na nga raw niya ang turing niya rito noong nasa Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition pa sila noon.

"Maski ang family ko, alam nila kung gaano ako ka-close sa kanya," pagtatapat pa ni Yayo.

"I really, really treasure the friendship. But, again, something happened. It involves my family, 'tapos, anak ko pa. Isipin mo na lang kung ano ang kinalalagyan ko," dugtong pa niya.

Marami na nga raw nakakaabot sa kanya na sinasabi ng iba tungkol kay Baron, kasama na roon ang sinasabing atraso rin daw ni Baron kay Emilio Garcia noon, na may kinalaman din sa anak nitong huli.

"Sa akin naman, problema ni Baron yun sa iba. Pero, at the back of my mind, bakit sa anak ko pa niya ginawa yun, di ba? Mahirap talaga ang situwasyon ko," tuluy-tuloy na nasabi pa ni Yayo.

PUBLIC APOLOGY WILL DO. Kung anuman daw, nasabi ni Yayo na handa silang tumanggap ng paumanhin o public apology kay Baron kung gagawin nga niya yun.

"Pero, sabi nga ni William, hindi lang ganoon kadali yun. Siya raw ang gagawa pa ng paraan para matiyak lang na masasamahan niya si Baron sa pagpapa-rehab nito sa pagka-alcoholic, nang sa gayon, maiwasan nang mangyari pa uli sa ibang kabataang babae ang nangyari sa aming anak," nasabi na lang ni Yayo.

Yayo Aguila gets to be strapped in lie-detector machine in front of her family

Showbiz Central's "Don't Lie to Me" segment makes it a family affair as Yayo Aguila, together with husband William Martinez and their whole family, minus their eldest daughter Patrizha guested yesterday, September 7, together to see Yayo strapped in the lie-detector machine and try her best to be as honest as possible.

Yayo, who looked kind of fidgety in her position, still smiled as host John "Sweet" Lapus read out the first question. The question was, "Yayo, nililigawan ka nga ba noon, ng ngayon ay Quezon City Vice Mayor na si Hebert Bautista noong Bagets days ninyo, kaya naman dali-dali kang tinanan ng mister mo na si William Martinez?"

"No," Yayo said and smiled. However, John's easy question proved too much for Yayo as the machine churned out a "Lie." When William saw the "Lie" sign, he jeered at his wife as John danced. After the dust settled, Yayo was given the opportunity to explain herself. She said, "Hindi kaya, ‘no! Hindi, hindi! Wala!"

To support her claim, William commented that someone indeed wooed his wife during their Bagets days, but it wasn't Herbert. "Mali ang info n'yo!" he laughed, not saying anything more.

Next question was slightly harder, as John revealed that the question would fall under "Moderate." He said to Yayo, "Two years ago, natsismis na ang mister mo na nahuli na may ka-date na starlet sa isang bar sa Q.C. Minsan din na nagselos ka din noon na sa isang teen star na na-link kay William, na tinagurian na pabling ng Philippine showbiz. Sa harapan ng iyong mister, masasabi mo ba na faithful ang husband mo?"

"Yes!" Yayo laughed and answered John. Once again, the machine gave out a "Lie" as Yayo and the whole family expressed shocked and shared funny faces and laughs. This time, John turned to William for an explanation.

John asked, "Ikaw, William, kahit hindi ikaw ang nagkasala e, faithful ka naman kay Misis?" "Kaya nga magkasama pa rin kami hanggang ngayon, e," William pointed out. With that said, John moved on the next question, which was a reasonably short one. He asked Yayo, "Sa tuwing nag-aaway kayo ni William, e, dahil ba sa pagiging selosa mo?"

"No," Yayo quickly answered. This time, the machine agreed with her, much to Yayo's relief. When asked to elaborate about the usual disagreements between husband and wife, Yayo revealed, "Kami, hindi kami nag-aaway, e. Pinag-aawayan lang namin, e, mahilig siyang mang-asar, e. Yun lang ang nakakainit ng ulo ko. Pero mabait ‘yan, e."

The next question was quite difficult as it revolved around a current controversy involving their daughter Patrizha. The question was, "Yayo, masama nga ba ang loob mo or masama ba ang loob ninyo sa iyong bayaw na si Albert dahil hindi raw ito concerned sa pinagdadaanang gulo ng anak ninyong si Patrizha.

"Siyempre no," Yayo answered. Again, Yayo got a failing result as the machine gave out a "Lie." After calming down from her protests about the machine's result, she explained, "Alam mo, si Albert, hindi man siya namin nakikita, e, hindi naman kailangan makita ang kamag-anak, e. Ang importante, lagi kaming nag-uusap at nagti-text. Alam namin na mahal niya kami. Walang duda doon." "Kaya mo pa ba?" John asked, after hearing Yayo's explanation. "Kaya pa!" Yayo exclaimed.

Since Yayo insisted, John proceeded with another sensitive question related to the Patrizha. He asked, "Did you feel guilty dahil naisip mo na mayroon kang pagkukulang sa anak mo na si Patrizha kaya siya na-involve sa kaso niya with Baron Geisler?" "No," Yayo answered. This time, the machine agreed and gave out a "Truth."

"Sa totoo lang, Sweet," Yayo said, "siyempre natural na magi-guilty ako dahil noong nangyari yun, e, wala ako. Pero umuwi naman ako at noong araw ng hearing, e, na-late ako dahil na-cancel ang flight. Pero hindi ako nagi-guilty dahil wala akong pagkukulang sa mga anak ko."

As the audience showed their appreciation by way of clapping, Yayo smiled and thought that maybe the segment had ended. However, John announced that there is one last question for her, aptly categorized as "It's now or never." John asked whether Yayo ever thought about leaving her husband.

When the question hit Yayo's ears, she looked at John and calmly said, "No, Sweet." A different change in pulse may have bothered the machine as it spurned Yayo's answer and gave out a "Lie." "Naubusan tuloy ako ng sayaw!" John commented as he danced his number.

"Tataas ang altapresyon ko dito!" Yayo joked. On a serious note, she explained, "Never. Imposible naman hindi kami nag-aaway. Tao lang kami ‘pag naiinis. Pero hanggang doon lang ‘yon. Nothing major at hanggang doon lang ‘yon."

Yayo Aguila vs Actor Baron Geisler files perjury raps

Actor Baron Geisler filed a case of perjury against actress Yayo Aguila, the mother of Patrizha Maree Martinez, who has accused him of acts of lasciviousness.

In his complaint, Geisler said Aguila had no knowledge of the alleged incident and allegedly twisted the facts in her affidavit.

He said Aguila was in the United States when the alleged sexual harassment of her daughter at the Fiamma Bar in Makati City took place on April 26.

Patrizha is the daughter of Aguila and actor William Martinez.

But lawyer Salvador Panelo, counsel for Patrizha, said Geisler’s complaint has no bearing on the case filed against him.

"The mother, Yayo, merely stated in her affidavit that her daughter called her and told her about the incident," Panelo pointed.

The complaint for perjury is the second case Geisler has filed against the Martinezes.

He first sued Patrizha for unjust vexation.

Patrizha claimed that, at the bar, Geisler asked her for a one night stand. Although the actor later apologized and asked for a hug, he allegedly touched her breast as he embraced her, she said.

Binuweltahan ng young actor na si Baron Geisler ang anak nina Yayo Aguila at William Martinez na si Patricia Martinez. Sinampahan ni Baron ng reklamong unjust vexation si Patricia bilang sagot sa acts of lasciviousness na isinampa naman ng dalaga sa kanya. Nag-submit si Baron ng kanyang counter-affidavit laban kay Patricia noong June 11.

Ayon kay Baron, si Patricia raw ang nagyaya at nagpilit sa young actor. Si Patricia rin daw ang yumakap nang mahigpit kung kaya natamaan ni Baron ang dibdib nito.

Wala rin daw naganap na pambabastos. Nadismaya raw si Patricia dahil walang nangyari sa kanila ni Baron. Sa inis ng young actor, binuweltahan niya ng reklamong unjust vexation (panggugulo o pang-iirita) sa kanya si Patricia.

Nagsalita ang abogado ni Baron na si Atty. Bonifacio Alentajan sa The Buzz kahapon, June 15, tungkol sa kasong isinampa ng young actor sa korte.

Kuwento ni Atty. Alentajan, "Habol siya [Patricia] nang habol kahit saan lumipat ng mesa si Baron. Habol pa rin siya. Siniksik niya ang katawan niya pati ang kilikili niya. Yung mukha niya naisiksik niya sa kili-kili ni Baron. Kasi ang higpit ng yakap niya. Siniksik niya ang bibig niya sa tenga ni Baron. Yun ang ikinainis ni Baron."

Taliwas naman ito sa naging unang pahayag ni Baron pagkatapos magsampa ng reklamo si Patricia. Ayon sa young actor, "Ako mahilig ako na kapag may bago akong role like bading, ginagawa ko to my friends and asking for their approval. Ito bagong role ko na manyak. Siguro she took it a wrong way. Di ba, parang kapamilya? So akala ko ay maiintindihan niya na naglalaro ako as a character. E, galing ako sa workshop, so yun lang."

Noong Biyernes, June 13, kasama ang kanilang abogado na si Atty. Panelo, nakuha ng mga Martinez ang kopya ng counter-affidavit ni Baron at pigil sila sa pagbibigay ng komento.

"Nairita siya [Baron]. May sexual advances daw si Patrizha. Kapal niya!" sabi ni Atty. Panelo.

Dagdag pa ng abogado, "Pero yung affidavit niya, meron siyang pag-amin na na-touch niya yung breast."

Nagbigay rin ng pahayag sa The Buzz ang ina ni Patricia na si Yayo. "Itutuloy na lang natin yung case. Kung ano yung sinabi ni Attorney, yun na. Ayoko talaga mag-comment. She's okay, coping, thank you," pahayag ng aktres.

Ipinaliwanag naman ng kaibigan at representative ni Baron na si Hazel Sarmiento kung bakit wala ang young actor nang magsumite ng affidavit sina Patricia.

"Nag-submit na kami ng counter-affidavit, e. Hindi siya available ngayon," sabi niya.

Mas pinili naman ni Baron na manahimik at huwag nang magsalita tungkol sa kaso. Sa July 2 nakatakda ang susunod na hearing at, ayon sa abogado ni Baron, nakahanda ang kanilang kampo.

Ayon kay Atty. Alentajan, "Wala naman kaming hinihinging settlement, e. Akala nila babayaran sila ni Baron dahil nagdemanda siya? Sinusuwerte siya! Abangan n'yo na lang. Di ba, kung maakyat ‘yan sa husgado, e, di abangan ninyo ang mga trial sa husgado."

Tinanong rin ng The Buzz kung sino ang mga representative ni Baron na pumupunta sa kanyang hearing. Ito ang naging pahayag ni Atty. Alentajan: "Mga fans niya na nag-volunteer sa kanya na kami na lang ang haharap diyan. Babae kontra sa babae kasi kalaban ni Baron babae, e."

Binasag na ni Yayo Aguila ang kanyang pananahimik sa demandang kinasasangkutan ng kanyang anak na si Patricia Martinez kontra sa ex-housemate ng aktres sa Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition na si Baron Geisler sa panayam sa kanya ng The Buzz kahapon, May 25. Incidentally, kahapon din nagdiwang ng kanyang kaarawan si Patricia.

Nasa Amerika si Yayo nang maganap ang insidente sa pagitan nina Patricia at Baron sa isang bar sa Makati City noong April 25. Ilang linggo pagkatapos magsampa si Patricia ng kasong acts of lasciviousness laban kay Baron ay dumating sa Pilipinas si Yayo.

"Katulad ng napag-usapan namin pagdating ko, sabi ko nga sa kanya [Patricia], whatever yung plano niya at yung mga pinaninindigan niya ngayon... Yun lang naman ang magagawa ko as mom. Isu-support ko lang siya, yun lang yun," saad ni Yayo sa panayam sa kanya ni Cristy Fermin.

Sinabi ni Yayo na nag-text din sa kanya si Baron kinabukasan pagkatapos niyang malaman mula kay Patricia ang ginawa ng aktor sa kanyang anak.

"In-explain niya na baka na-misinterpret lang daw siya. Nagso-sorry siya sa akin kasi hindi naman niya mini-mean na i-disrespect yung family. Kasi hindi alam ng marami na very close sa mga anak ko si Baron at sa lahat sa amin sa family. Lahat ng [PBB] housemates ganun. So, hindi siya iba.

"Tapos ayun, sinend niya yung message. Siyempre hindi ko na ni-replayan, di ba? Dahil ang feeling ko, okay, narinig ko na yung side niya. Pero hanggang doon na lang yun," sabi ni Yayo.

Habang nasa Amerika si Yayo ay may sinabi raw ang mister niya na si William Martinez (kapatid ni Albert Martinez). Bukod daw sa anak nila na si Patricia ay may ginawa ring hindi kanais-nais si Baron kay Yayo na hindi nagustuhan ni William.

Ayon kay Yayo, "Actually, hindi naman, hindi ko na kailangan pang hindi ko siya sabihin. Kasi nung nasa loob kami ng Bahay ni Kuya, nangyari yun. Naka-tape yun. ‘Tsaka nakita yun ng maraming tao.

"Kasi nagkaroon kami ng Boracay days noon, di ba? Lahat kami naka-Boracay outfit. Yun yung day na nakainom si Baron. Marami siyang nainom noon kasi nagpa-party si Kuya, nagpa-party si Ethel [Booba].

"Kasi tinawag ako ni Kuya para dalhin si Baron sa confession room. Nung tinatawag ko siya, hinihila ko siya. Hinalikan niya ako sa leeg. Pero siyempre, sa akin wala naman yun. Wala naman yun sa akin kasi lahat kami sa Bahay ni Kuya, naiintindihan namin siya. And open naman siya na may problema siya sa pag-inom niya, na hindi niya talaga makontrol yun," kuwento ng aktres.

Ito raw ang isa sa mga dahilan kung kaya't pinaniniwalaan niya 100 percent ang kuwento ng kanyang anak.

"Talagang paniniwalaan ko yun, anak ko yun, e," diin ni Yayo. "Tsaka si Patricia, hindi ‘yan sinungaling na bata. She's a very tough girl. Para mapaiyak mo siya, ibig sabihin meron talaga siyang hindi nararamdaman na maganda at nasaktan siya."

Paninindigan din daw nila ni William ang naging desisyon ng kanyang anak at susuporta sa laban nito kay Baron.

"Yun lang naman talaga ang dapat kong gawin bilang ina," pagtatapos ni Yayo.

Walang atrasan at hindi magpapaareglo si Patricia Martinez sa kasong acts of lasciviousness na sinampa nito kay Baron Geisler.

Nakapanayam naman ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang ina ni Patricia na si Yayo Aguila sa dressing room ng ABS-CBN matapos nitong mag-guest sa The Buzz at hindi na napigil ng misis ni William Martinez na maglabas ng hinaing sa nangyari sa panganay nilang anak na eksaktong 22^nd birthday kahapon.

THEY TRUSTED BARON. Una munang inusisa ng PEP kung ano ang naging reaction niya nang unang nalaman ang balita.

"Siyempre na-freak-out ako. Kasi, nasa Amerika nga ako, kagigising ko lang or madaling araw iyon, ‘tapos nag-text ang anak ko na kailangan niya akong makausap. E, hindi ko siya makausap dahil may problema yung roaming [cell phone signal] ko and kailangan ko pang bumili ng phone card. So, talagang na-freak-out ako nang nalaman ko iyon dahil hindi ko ine-expect na mangyayari iyon at si Baron pa yung involved. Sana kung ibang tao. E, hindi naman ibang tao si Baron sa pamilya namin," panimula ni Yayo.

Sinabi pa ng aktres na hindi niya pinagdudahan ang sumbong ng kanyang anak dahil kilala niya si Baron.

"Siyempre, hindi naman sinungaling ang anak ko, at saka kung alam mo lang yung iyak niya, yung talagang humihikbi siya. At saka, naniwala agad ako, kasi close sa akin si Baron, pero I know that he is really like that kapag nakakainom. Maski naman siya, inaamin niya iyon sa mga interview, at saka yung profile niya bago kami nag-PBB, hindi ba sinabi niya na may drinking problem talaga siya? Pero hindi ko inaasahan na mangyayari iyon sa anak ko with him."

Hindi ba mas masakit iyon na close ang family mo at pinagkakatiwalaan mo siya pero ganoon ang nangyari?

"Exactly, kasi ang masakit doon, si Baron, ang tawag nga sa kanya ng mga anak ko ay 'kuya'. Kaya ang sinasabi ng ibang tao, alam naman daw na ganoon si Baron, in-invite pa. Hindi naman kasi ganoon ang mga anak ko, lahat ng ini-invite nila sa get-together na iyon, lumalabas sila with our friends. Lahat ng friends namin, close din sa mga anak ko. So, who would ever think na mangyayari iyon? She really felt violated, kasi in good faith, in-invite niya si Baron pati yung maraming friends nila.

"At saka ang anak ko, hindi iyon nag-iisip ng malisya sa ibang tao, hindi sila ganoon," naiiling na esplika pa niya.

Baron Geisler Charged with Acts of Lasciviousness by Yayo & William’s Daughter

Patricia Martinez, the 21-year-old daughter of William Martinez and Yayo Aguila, filed a case against ex-PBB housemate Baron Geisler for “Acts of Lasciviousness.”

Patricia is accusing Baron of touching her chest and asking her to have sex with him last weekend in a bar at Quezon City. With the helf of his father William Martinez, they filed the case at the PNP Women and Children’s Desk in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

Baron and Patricia’s mom, Yayo Aguila, became housemates in Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2.

Baron denied the accusations.

Yayo Aguila leaves PBB after her mother passes away

Yayo Aguila opts to leave Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 after staying in the house for nine weeks as a celebrity housemate. The Mom in Distress had just found out that her mother, Mrs. Helen Racelis, had succumbed to a cardiac arrest. Yayo’s mom has been suffering from diabetes and a serious heart ailment prior to her demise.

The former Bagets star lamented the fact that she was unable to inform her mother two months ago about her plan to enter PBB Celebrity Edition 2. She told Big Brother that the reason why she decided to try her luck in the reality show was to provide her mother and her children a much better life. Yayo planned to use the prize money to support her family and pay for her mother’s medication.

In this afternoon's Uber, Bianca Gonzales broke the news that Yayo's mother had passed away this afternoon. Kuya talked to Mariel in the confession room and had her relay the events that happened during her and Yayo's absence. The pretty houseguest accompanied Yayo to the hospital this noon instantly when Yayo learned of the devastating news. When Mariel and Yayo left the house a few hours ago, they were deeply hoping that they will see Yayo's mother in a better condition. Unfortunately, on their way to the hospital, Mrs. Racelis had succumbed to a cardiac arrest. Mariel shed light on Yayo's condition while dealing with the great loss. According to Mariel, Yayo was greatly affected because she never had the chance to speak to her mother before she entered Kuya's house a couple of months ago. Apparently Mrs. Racelis had already been suffering from diabetes and a serious heart ailment.

Mariel left the confession room and personally told the other housemates about the incident. Although they don't know Mrs. Racelis that well, all the housemates knew how much pain Yayo is going through, and together, they lit some white candles and offered a solemn prayer to ask God to give Yayo strength and eternal peace for the soul of her mother. Gaby, Baron, Riza, and the other housemates, who were very close to Yayo, failed to hold their emotions knowing that the housemates they all look up to as their mom in Kuya's house is actually going through a very difficult time. It was then when silence and mourning engulfed the what used to be a loud and fun-filled house.

As of the moment, the remains of Mrs. Racelis is at the Arlington Funeral Homes in Quezon City. Dealing with deep grief at the moment, Yayo has not yet decided on her fate as a celebrity housemate. Will she return to Kuya's house or will she make a voluntary exit for her mother's funeral?

Silence stretched inside Big Brother's famous home as the housemates come to terms with the grief that Yayo is going through. Each of them found their own corner to reflect on Mrs. Helen Racelis death, knowing that losing a loved one is always a difficult moment. And being the bonded family that they've become in the months that they were together, they hurt so badly for this sad news.

For an unknown reason, they were detained for a while in the boys bedroom while Mariel went in the confession room alone to receive a special task for this evening. Since then, she is yet to be seen by the housemates including Yayo who arrived just to get her things. Amidst her obvious pain, she tried to laugh and even remembered to ask the others to continue doing good deeds for Riza who happens to be her Kris Kringle baby.

In a serious note, she relayed that she's still uncertain as to how long the wake for her mom would be because they have to contact Mrs. Racelis mother and sister in California to tell them about what happened. It appeared that no one wanted to take responsibility in passing on the bad news for Yayo's grandmother also has a heart ailment. That was their dilemma when she left their house but the Mom in Distress claimed that maybe her relatives have fixed this by now. And if they decided to come over for the burial, then the wake would take longer since they have to wait for them.

In relation to her lost opportunity as a contender for the Big Win, Ethel advised her to think it over and see if she could get her slot back since her situation transcends the previous reasons of those who have made a voluntary exit. The sexy comedienne reminded her of this when Big Brother finally opened the huge doors on the garden for her to make her way out. But of course, this is not really of essence at this point in time so Yayo simply bid them goodbye with the thought that she will be seeing them soon in the outside world. "Thank you guys. I love you guys", she shouted.

Housemates Dance The Cotillion For Yayo

Any mother would always want to see their child celebrate his or her birthday. But in the case of Yayo, however, she could only cry because she can't be there for her daughter, Dana, in her 18th birthday. But Big Brother made a way so the Mom in Distress can buy her daughter a special gift on this special and once-in-a-lifetime occasion. All of the other celebrity housemates joined together to make a sacrifice for their one and only Mommy Yayo.

Our housemates must dance the cotillion, non stop. Every time the cotillion music would play, one pair must wear the tux and the gown provided in the living room and they must dance in front of the picture of Yayo's daughter. They must keep on dancing even if the music fades, but once the music plays again, the dancing pair must offer one flower to Dana's picture and then pass the costume to another pair. Each flower accounts for one hour, and there are 18 flowers that they must all finish up. This means that the task will go on for the next 18 hours until Yayo gets the special gift for her daughter.

On Kuya's signal, Mcoy and Yayo wore the costumes and started dancing. Yayo was very proud when she saw the picture of her daughter. Mcoy understood how this sacrifice was so important to Yayo as the Musikerong Daddy also has a teenage daughter. The other housemates watched in support for the first pair, while Ethel carried on as Baby Posh which exempted her from this task. Then on the next music cue, Megan and Baron got on the costume and danced the waltz for yet another hour. Megan felt the dance as if she was already celebrating her own debut party, while Baron moved roughly like a drunkard.

Everyone was surprised when Camille Prats announced that she was four months pregnant by non-showbiz boyfriend Anthony Linsangan.

"Wala naman akong dapat ikahiya. It's a wonderful gift [from] God. At pangalawa, I think I owe the public the truth about my life. It's a blessing and I'm very proud of it, and I don't regret anything," Camille said.

Sheen Patricia Camille Prats was first seen on TV when she joined Eat Bulaga's Little Miss Philippines in 1990. She was just five years old then. Her popularity meter rose when she became a regular on ABS-CBN's Ang TV and Oki Doki Doc. Her charm, coupled with talent in acting and dancing, endeared her to the public. She was showbiz's little darling and "munting prinsesa."

And a few months from now, the showbiz baby will have her own baby!

Pregnancy news is considered a big scoop in showbiz, especially if the mom-to-be is young, talented, and has a promising career. Every time a star or a reporter drops it like a bomb, the public gets shocked and the press treats it with much hoopla.

YAYO AGUILA. The two met on the set of Bagets, the ‘80s movie that defined the decade's teen generation. Yayo Aguila was 16, while William Martinez was 21, the most senior cast member. By the end of the movie shoot, they were in love. And the year after they met, in 1983, they got married.

The pair will be celebrating their 25th anniversary on November 17, 2008. Four children and several marital problems later, Yayo resolutely said, "It just never occurred to me to leave him."

SHARON CUNETA. Viva darling Sharon Cuneta and Regal heartthrob Gabby Concepcion captured the hearts of movie fans when they both top-billed Dear Heart in 1981.

The reel tandem, which became the most popular love team of the '80s, turned real. It wasn't long before they exchanged "I dos" in a grand wedding held at the Manila Cathedral in September 20, 1984. But unknown then to Sharon's parents, she and Gabby had already married in civil rites six months earlier.

The fact: they were in love. And the bomb: Sharon was two months pregnant. Their union paved the way for the birth of Maria Kristina Cassandra "KC" Concepcion in April 1985.

By 1992, the couple had separated. The two movie sweethearts have moved on since then. Sharon is now married to Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan and they have two kids. Gabby is now based in the U.S. and has also remarried.

LANI MERCADO. Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr., the son of action star Ramon Revilla Sr., returned from the U.S. when he was 15. He met Lani Mercado when the latter was just 14, and he asked to be paired with her.

When Lani turned 16, they were allowed to go out on group dates. However, the relationship was described as on-and-off due to the playboy image of Bong. It turned serious when Lani became pregnant with their first child. At 18, she became a mom.

They had a civil wedding in Glendale, California, in May 1986. After six kids and 12 years, the union of Lani Mercado and Bong Revilla was solemnized in a grand church wedding on March 25, 1998.

At 25, he was at the height of his career. At 19, she was about to be launched in a movie. But all plans for their showbiz careers were aborted. The two eloped to the U.S. in 1985.

They lived in the U.S.-Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco-as husband and wife. In 1991, they decided to return to the Philippines, and Albert resumed his acting career.

Liezl, now 40, is a full-time housewife. Albert at 46 is a sought-after character actor who was last seen in ABS-CBN's Maria Flordeluna. They have three kids-Alyanna, Alfonso, and Alyssa.

JANICE DE BELEN. Catherine Janice Yap de Belen shot up to fame as a child star in Flordeluna.

In 1986, Janice was at the peak of her stardom with all her successful TV soaps and movies. But her moment in the limelight was cut short when she got pregnant at age 18. The dad: Bagets star Aga Muhlach, her screen partner in the movies Erpat kong Forgets, Napakasakit Kuya Eddie, Bakit Madalas ang Tibok ng Puso, and When I Fall in Love.

They named their love child Luigi.

Janice's pregnancy did not lead her to the altar with Aga. Both found their respective real-life partners several years later. Janice wed model John Estrada (but they're now separated), while Aga Muhlach married 1994 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Charlene Gonzalez.

Janice has four kids-Inah, Moira, Kylah and Yuan. Aga and Charlene have their twins, Atasha and Andres.

JEAN GARCIA. Jean Garcia and Jigo Garcia were mainstays of German Moreno's That's Entertainment. The people around them had high hopes for their budding careers.

Jean's biggest break came when Regal Films asked her to do Impaktita with Richard Gomez, Aga Muhlach, Gloria Romero, and Nida Blanca. That was in 1989, the same year she got pregnant by Jigo.

The two lived together, but called it quits after five years.

Fast forward to 2007. Jean is now an established character actress on TV, and has a son courtesy of a Japanese businessman, her former partner. Meanwhile, Jigo is serving as a barangay captain. He is happily married to a doctor and has four kids.

Jean and Jigo's daughter Jenica has entered show business and is seen together with her mom on GMA-7 's Impostora and Boys Nxt Door. She is being paired with Mart Escudero in their launching movie.

LOTLOT DE LEON. Like Jean Garcia, Lotlot de Leon was also a mainstay of That's Entertainment. The adopted daughter of Superstar Nora Aunor and Drama King Christopher de Leon was one of the most popular teen stars of her batch. A TV show titled Lotlot and Friends was even made for her by RPN-9.

And then she was paired with Ramon "Monching" Christopher, the son of Pilita Corrales and Eddie Gutierrez (who eventually separated). The result? A hit love team on and off-cam!

But the couple's fast rise to fame came to a halt when Lotlot announced she was pregnant. She was 16, and Monching, 18. They got married at Club Filipino in 1989.

After almost 20 years and with four kids-Diego Emmanuel, 10; Jessica Clarisse, 17; Laura Maxine Jillian, 7; and Janine Marie Elizabeth, 18-Lotlot and Monching parted ways.

Monching, now 37, is the one taking care of the kids, with the help of his mom. Meanwhile, Lotlot is working on her papers so she can stay with her biological dad in the U.S. for good.

BING LOYZAGA. Bing Loyzaga, the daughter of basketball legend Carlos Loyzaga, was another mainstay of That's Entertainment. Her brief romance with Janno Gibbs, son of actor Ronaldo Valdez, already ended when she realized she was pregnant.

Her shocking announcement broke the heart of Manilyn Reynes, then the reel-and-real love of Janno, and the legions of Janno-Manilyn fans.

Bing and Janno got married in 1990, a year after Bing gave birth to Alyssa.

They both resumed their showbiz careers-Janno as a singer-host-comedian and Bing as a character actress.

At one point, the two announced their separation. But early this year, they admitted patching things up.

ANGELU DE LEON. Angelu de Leon was part of the cast of the popular Saturday afternoon show, TGIS (Thank God It's Sabado) aired over GMA-7. She and Bobby Andrews played the well-loved tandem of Peachy and Wacks. TV viewers adored them.

But their fans were dismayed when Angelu got pregnant at the age of 19, not by Bobby. Many had hoped that their reel partnership would turn real, but Angelu was apparently dating Joko Diaz, son of character actor Paquito Diaz, off- cam.

Angelu's and Joko's relationship did not last long. Their daughter Nicole is now nine years old.
